Vegeta had trained hard between the end of dbz and gt. He should have been more than strong enough to turn ssj3 in gt. I felt like vegeta should have reach his max potential in gt. He shouldn't have needed a machine to turn ssj4 and he should been strong enough to turn ssj3 and atleast catch up with goku. What do you think? |

He wasn't able to turn SSJ3 in GT because his child body couldn't handle it. It has nothing to do with power. Also, moved to GT/Movies. |

Emmeth are you still hang over from your birthday xD. Vegeta wasn't a kid in GT. You confused him for Goku #AllSaiyansLookAlike #Monkeys |

Vegeta was training and pushing himself hard for 10 or 11 years. It took goku 7 years to turn ssj3. Vegeta should have learned by then. |

Depends if you believe it takes special circumstances to achieve SSJ3. Training in other world for Goku, and fusion for Gotenks. |

Vegeta should have been able to at least push himself past super sayian 2 he had pushed himself to the limit by gt. Toei made vegeta seem underrated in gt. |

Nah, Vegeta was always among the strongest in GT. By the end of GT he was even equal to Goku again. |

Logicial mistake, yes. Plot line? No. Seriously, how fun would it be to watch Vegeta and Goku effortlessly plow through planets. The series would have been a total of nine episodes and they'd have called it a day. But, you know by GT: Saiyan Ascended Even Further Beyond was kind of useless. Especially when Goku discovers Super Saiyan Four, the drawbacks of the third level compared to the power boost are just dimwitted at that time. Yeah you get "Four Times more powerful" but at what cost? Half of your energy goes to maintaining the form and the other half to making sure your body doesn't explode? And if you're lucky you'll have five minutes to shoot off a Kamehameha wave. By GT it was obsolete. |

Probably not. I don't think he thought he was near a level to do anything like that. SSj4 just happened to work out one day, so that was his greatest achievement. I don't think he could reach SSj3 in GT. He was shown to train, so I think that would have at least been a goal of his, if he thought it was reachable. |

The best reasoning I've heard on the internet is The reason Vegeta didn't ever use SSj3 is because he finds it a flawed transformation, so he could have it, just never uses it. Or he never learned it in the first place. It's not a power thing though. |
